Master Thesis

Master Thesis

The Master Thesis (30 credits) presents the final step of the program. Students work on a current scientific project over a period of six months. Mostly, the topic is developed out of one of the Research Projects finished before. The thesis is presented and defended in a scientific seminar. In some cases students take the opportunity to perform an external study in foreign laboratories.

Learning target/competences

The students are able to work (under guidance) on an extended scientific project. They understand recent scientific literature and can regard it for their own work. They can prepare, carry out and write down their work, and finally present and defend it in a public seminar.
